9 Home Remedies To Get Pregnant Fast Naturally

If you are wondering if there are any natural home remedies to help you get pregnant fast, then the answer is yes. All of the remedies described below are easily available, affordable and also effective. So, if you are unable to get pregnant owing to PCOS or irregular periods, try these natural alternative remedies to increase your chances of fertility.

1. Fight the blues

One of the most important causes of infertility is stress and anxiety. Too much stress can increase testosterone in the blood and interfere with the body’s ability to get pregnant. So try some home remedies to fight the blues and beat stress. These include regular exercise, proper healthy diet, meditation and yoga.
2. Reduce and eliminate toxins in your environment

Many women have seen excellent results by eating organic food and eliminating toxins that enter the body through shampoos, detergents, toothpastes and even water and food. So try and eat healthy as much as possible. Select fresh organic produce and choose lean organic meat cuts. Drink distilled filtered mineral water. Do avoid fish like shark etc as they have high mercury content which is especially harmful for pregnant women or women trying to conceive. Change your brand of shampoo, detergent, household cleaners, and deodorant and choose organic gentler varieties. You can even make homemade versions of many of these products.
3. Avoid certain foods

Many women are unaware of the fact that certain foods can interfere with their ability to get pregnant fast. These include caffeine which decreases fertility by 50% as well as chocolate, soda and sugars. These foods all impact the ovulation rate as well as hormonal balance. Do avoid alcohol which has high amounts of sugar for at least 4 months before trying to conceive. The same is the case with smoking. Also check your medicines since many common pain relievers contain caffeine.

4. Exercise

Exercise is a must for optimal health and especially necessary for getting pregnant fast naturally. Daily walk or jog of 30 minutes is necessary to maintain ideal body weight, since obesity is a leading factor that affects fertility. Try to exercise outdoors in order to get adequate Vitamin D- a must-have nutrient for healthy pregnancy. The reason why exercise is one of the best natural remedies to get pregnant is because you end up with more energy to have better sex. This, in turn, increases your chances of pregnancy naturally.

5. Best remedies to get pregnant with PCOS

PCOS is polycystic ovarian syndrome which can interfere with one’s menstrual cycle and cause many health problems like weight gain, hair loss, facial hair, bloating, cramps and so on. The natural remedies for PCOS are mainly dietary and lifestyle changes. Avoid junk food, fried foods, and sugary desserts. Exercise daily for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Drink plenty of water. Eat fresh and organic fruits and vegetables.

6. Add certain foods to the diet

Now that we have briefly discussed foods to avoid when trying to get pregnant, we will also discuss important foods to eat when trying to conceive naturally:

Fruits- all organic varieties
Vegetables- all kinds especially dark leafy vegetables. Choose local and organic fresh produce.
Legumes
Nuts and seeds
Do focus on foods rich in Vitamin B, folate etc. Folic acid is particularly needed to avoid birth defects. So, eat plenty of asparagus, avocados, dark leafy greens, eggs, oranges, nuts, whole grain breads and cereals, beans, fortified foods and drinks (preferably sugar free). Zinc is another vital nutrient to add to your diet. You can get zinc through sea food, oysters etc. Zinc is also recommended to men having low fertility count.

7. Note the timing of sex

Your doctor might have already discussed the timing of sex as well as factors like basal temperature, cervical mucus etc. These factors tell you when your body is ready to conceive. The thing is that these tend to make sex a chore and often turns off couples completely. So try and relax and do not look at these factors too seriously. The best is to have sex twice a week to strengthen the connection between you and your partner and also improve your chances of getting pregnant naturally.

8. Position during intercourse

The position during intercourse is important for conception and must not be overlooked. To increase your chances, avoid positions that allow the sperm to leak away easily. The woman on top is one such position. Optimal conception usually occurs in the missionary position. Women can place a pillow under the groin region to lift it up. This helps the sperm swim faster to the egg to better your chances of conceiving. Avoid getting up too quickly after sex. Also avoid douching or washing right after intercourse.

9. Home remedies to get pregnant with a boy or girl

Having intercourse during specific times of a woman’s ovulation cycle is known to guarantee the gender of the baby. In general, the best remedy to get pregnant with a girl is to have intercourse 7 days prior to ovulation and then every day until 3 or more days left for ovulation. Later, try and avoid sex until you are sure ovulation is over. Also women must not orgasm as this makes the vagina more alkaline whereas you want an acidic environment to kill the weaker Y sperm. Conversely, if you are trying for a boy, have sex 2-3 days prior to ovulation and then every day until after ovulation. Deep penetration is especially necessary here, so the smaller, weaker Y sperm reaches the egg quickly. Orgasm of the woman during sex can help in contracting the sperm into the womb for greater success. The man should drink one cup of strong coffee to increase motility of sperm.

Look into these 9 natural home remedies to get pregnant soon and you will discover your own solution for your infertility. These natural remedies will actually improve several other health issues including facial hair, hair loss, or menstrual cramps and bloating. Most importantly, these remedies will help you create a strong and healthy body which will, in turn, become a nurturing environment for your baby.

BENEFITS OF TEA: TEA MAKES EVERYTHING BETTER, JUST DRINK ONE CUP AT A TIME

Tea. This fresh and invigorating drink is one of the most popular beverages in the world. In fact, after water, it is the second most consumed drink in the world. Legend has it that tea was discovered accidentally by a Chinese emperor in 2737 BC, when a tea leaf fell into his bowl of hot water. Mostly people prefer tea over coffee because of its moderate caffeine content. Tea also contains lots of antioxidants. There are 4 major types of tea- white, black, green and oolong. However, all varieties have a common source in one plant- Camellia sinesis. The treatment process imparts different taste and colour.
Major Tea Varieties
White Tea

Being oxidised, it contains the most antioxidants in comparison to all the other teas.
Pros: Studies have shown that white tea can act as a blood thinner and improves artery function. It also helps in reducing cholesterol and lowering blood pressure. In fact, some research findings have said that there is evidence to suggest that white tea prevents cancer.
Cons: 8 ounces of white tea contains 30-50 mg of caffeine, much less than coffee. But, a finding reported that people who had 3-6 cups a day, absorbed large amounts of polyphenols and other compounds suspected of producing adverse effects on the body.

Black Tea
Because it’s oxidized, it needs to be brewed at higher temperatures for antioxidants to be released.
Pros: The National Cancer Institute, United States, says that drinking black tea can help prevent onset of cancer. It also helps in reducing the amount of cancer cells in the body.  It may also protect the lungs from the damage caused by cigarette smoke.
Cons: 8 ounces of black tea contains 42-72 mg of caffeine which is similar to brewed coffee. Darjeeling and Ceylon tea have the highest caffeine. Excess consumption can cause increased blood pressure, headaches, insomnia and gastrointestinal problems.
Green Tea
Green tea has a specific antioxidant EGCG that helps in reducing formation of free radicals in the body.
Pros: It lowers total cholesterol and raises HDL. Studies say that it is possibly effective for coronary artery disease, breast cancer and Parkinson’s disease.
Cons: The Natural Medicines Comprehensive Database, Canada, says long term use of green tea in high doses can be harmful due to its caffeine content. Reports also say, if it interacts with other supplements and drugs, green tea can worsen symptoms of existing ailments.

Oolong Tea
It is rich in antioxidants and also contains vital vitamins, minerals and other detoxifying alkaloids.
Pros: It is proven to be effective for weight-loss. It also helps in relieving chronic skin problems, and prevents tooth decay. Bone mineral density reduces with age. A study has claimed that long term consumption can cut this reduction in bone mineral density.
Cons: Excess consumption can cause headaches, anxiety, sleeplessness and diarrhoea. Too much intake can reduce the amount of extra calcium that the body is processing.

Crazy Tea Facts
  • Oolong tea can be brewed up to 3 times.
  • Tea can cure your eye puffiness. You need two steeped black tea bags. Squeeze the liquid after steeping, cool it and place on eyes for 10 minutes.
  • Always use fresh water while making tea because previously boiled water has no oxygen, this can affect the taste, and it may taste flat.
  • Green tea is not fermented. To remove moisture, it is steamed and heated.
  • Though tea has its origin in China, it is the Indian tea that happens to be the most common variety consumed throughout the world.

11 Benefits of Green Tea That You Didn’t Know About

I’m a green tea drinker.
Not for the love of the taste — no way! I drink it because I’m told it’s good for me…or, to be honest, the real reason I drink it is because I believe it help keeps my weight in check. But recently I decided to look into it a bit deeper and see what are all these other benefits of green tea people talk of.

Why Green Tea?
Green tea has been used as a medicine for thousands of years, originating in China but widely used throughout Asia this beverage has a multitude of uses from lowering blood pressure to preventing cancer. The reason that green tea has more health benefits attached to it than black tea is (apparently) due to the processing. Black tea is processed in a way that allows for fermentation whereas green tea’s processing avoids the fermentation process. As a result, green tea retains maximum amount of antioxidants and poly-phenols the substances that give green tea its many benefits.

Here’s a list of some of its amazing benefits — benefits that you may not have been aware of. Some of these benefits are still being debated, so please do your own research if you want to use green tea for medicinal purposes.
  1. Weight Loss. Green tea increases the metabolism. The polyphenol found in green tea works to intensify levels of fat oxidation and the rate at which your body turns food into calories.
  2. Diabetes. Green tea apparently helps regulate glucose levels slowing the rise of blood sugar after eating. This can prevent high insulin spikes and resulting fat storage.
  3. Heart Disease. Scientists think, green tea works on the lining of blood vessels, helping keep them stay relaxed and better able to withstand changes in blood pressure. It may also protect against the formation of clots, which are the primary cause of heart attacks.

  4. Esophageal Cancer. It can reduce the risk of esophageal cancer, but it is also widely thought to kill cancer cells in general without damaging the healthy tissue around them.
  5. Cholesterol. Green tea reduces bad cholesterol in the blood and improves the ratio of good cholesterol to bad cholesterol.
  6. Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. It is said to delay the deterioration caused by Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. Studies carried out on mice showed that green tea protected brain cells from dying and restored damaged brain cells.
  7. Tooth Decay. Studies suggests that the chemical antioxidant “catechin” in tea can destroy bacteria and viruses that cause throat infections, dental caries and other dental conditions
  8. Blood Pressure. Regular consumption of green tea is thought to reduce the risk of high blood pressure.
  9. Depression. Theanine is an amino acid naturally found in tea leaves. It is this substance that is thought to provide a relaxing and tranquilizing effect and be a great benefit to tea drinkers.
  10. Anti-viral and Anti-bacterial. Tea catechins are strong antibacterial and antiviral agents which make them effective for treating everything from influenza to cancer. In some studies green tea has been shown to inhibit the spread of many diseases.
  11. Skincare. Green tea can apparently also help with wrinkles and the signs of aging, This is because of their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities. Both animal and human studies have demonstrated that green tea applied topically can reduce sun damage.

How Much?

These are some of the many benefits but the reality is one cup of tea a day will not give you all the abundant gains. The jury is out on how many cups are necessary; some say as little as two cups a day while others five cups — and more still say you can drink up to ten cups a day. If you are thinking of going down this route, you may want to consider taking a green tea supplement instead (it would keep you out of the bathroom).
Another thing to point out is that there is caffeine in green tea — so if you are sensitive to caffeine then one cup should be your limit. Green tea also contains tannins (which can decrease the absorption of iron and folic acid), so if you are pregnant or trying to conceive then green tea may not be ideal for you. You can try mixing green tea with other healthy ingredients such as ginger.
For the rest of us with all these abundant benefits…it’s a wonder we drink anything else.

Health Benefits of Aloe Vera Juice

Many people already know the many benefits associated with using aloe vera. Not as many people are aware of the health benefits associated with consuming aloe vera juice.
All of the nutrients in aloe vera juice are perfectly balanced in a way that is ideal for the body in terms of healing and repair. Although it is not a miracle cure, it contains enough nutrition to significantly help with healing the body, as well as provide other benefits.

Health Benefits of Aloe Vera Juice

1. Detox

Aloe vera juice can be a great natural option for detoxing. Because of the way we live including stress, pollution and junk food, we need to occasionally cleanse our systems. Aloe vera juice is an ideal way to do this because it contains many trace elements, vitamins and minerals that can help the body deal with daily stresses and strains.

2. Digestion Promotion

A healthy digestion system is necessary to ensure that we are able to absorb all of the nutrients found in our food. In addition to its natural detoxifying abilities, aloe vera juice can increase protein absorption and improve bowel regularity. It can also reduce the quantity of unfriendly yeast and bacteria found in our gut. It can also soothe and reduce digestive problems such as heartburn.

3. Immunity Boost

Aloe vera juice contains many antioxidants which fight the free radicals found in our bodies. Free radicals are unstable compounds that are a side-effect of metabolism and contribute the process of aging as well as cause various ailments. Therefore when you drink aloe vera juice on a regular basis, your body will have the antioxidants it needs to fight these free radicals and boost your immune system.

4. Anti-inflammation

This juice has 12 different substances which are able to reduce and prevent inflammation, all without the risk of side-effects. It can even help with swollen, stiff or painful joints.

5. Healthy Skin

Aloe vera juice can help repair your collagen and elastin, giving you healthy skin. Our skin replaces itself each 28 days or so and when we have nutritional building blocks from aloe vera, our skin is able to use these nutrients each day to help fight aging. It can also help sooth minor skin irritations, scrapes, cuts and burns.

6. Weight Loss and Energy Regulation

When we drink aloe vera juice, the body can naturally cleanse its digestive system. Because our diets have many parts that can lead to exhaustion or fatigue, having aloe vera regularly can fight this. That means that aloe vera juice will give you a better feeling of well-being, help you keep a body weight that is healthy and increase energy levels.

7. Vitamin and Mineral Powerhouse

Every day our body needs to ingest several vitamin and minerals and aloe vera juice contains a great deal of these. It includes vitamin A, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, vitamin C, vitamin E, niacin and folic acid. In addition to these, it also contains chromium, magnesium, manganese, zinc, copper, potassium, iron, sodium, calcium and others.

8. Amino Acid Supply

Our body needs 20 different amino acids in order to build protein and it is not able to produce 8 of them itself. Because aloe vera juice contains 7 of these essential amino acids and 19 amino acids in total, it is able to easily fulfill your body’s daily needs.

9. Dental Health

Aloe vera juice can also help your gums and mouth. It not only provides natural anti-microbial and anti-bacterial actions but it also contains several vitamins and minerals that promote cell healing and growth. Because of this you will find some tooth gels that contain pure aloe vera, especially to help with mouth ulcers and bleeding gums.

10. Alkalization of the Body

Disease is not able to happen in environments that are alkaline. In general, people will consume foods that are mostly acidic but the ideal is the 80/20 rule which says you should consume 80% of alkaline forming foods and 20% of acidic ones. Because aloe vera juice is one of the alkaline forming foods, it can help alkalize the body and balance out the acidity in our diets.

11. Cardiovascular Health

Some research has shown that when doctors inject aloe vera extract into the blood, it drastically multiplies the diffusion abilities of red blood cells as well as the oxygen transportation. It contains nutrients that can regulate blood pressure, improve blood oxidation and circulation, lower cholesterol and make blood less sticky.

Precautions and Side Effects of Aloe Vera Juice

1. Recommended Dosage

In her book “Herbal Medicines” Joanne Barnes recommends that children over age 10 and adults have aloe vera juice three times each day in a dose of between 50 and 200 milligrams. She does point out that using it as a laxative is not recommended for over two weeks.

2. Risks of Diarrhea

Because aloe vera juice contains anthraquinones, it can increase your risk of having diarrhea if you consume large quantities. This diarrhea can be severe and include dehydration, stomach cramps and pain.

3. Electrolyte Imbalance

Because of the stimulant laxatives that can be found in aloe vera juice, there may be an electrolyte imbalance or dehydration if you take the juice frequently. This decrease in potassium levels can lead to irregular heartbeats and weakness.

4. Interactions with Drugs

Aloe vera juice can interact negatively with medications, both over-the-counter and prescription especially stimulant laxatives, anti-diabetes drubs, diuretic drugs and sevoflurane (which is used for anesthesia).

5. Precaution for Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

During pregnancy, you should limit your consumption of aloe vera juice due to its purgative and irritant properties. It should not be consumed while breastfeeding as it can cause severe diarrhea for the baby.

10 Health Benefits Of Mint Leaves

10 Mint Nutritional Benefits and Facts

Would like to learn about the health benefits of mint leaves?

I think you would, since you’ve landed on this page.
As you have probably already guessed, mint nutritional benefits are awesome. Below, I list 10 of those benefits.
If you’re anything like me, you probably love mint, whether it’s in cooking or juice. Yes, you CAN use mint in fresh juice. It tastes absolutely delightful when mixed with certain fruits. I’ll explain how to use mint with juicing below. Check out the benefits of pineapple juice for a hint!

Mint is a perennial herb that grows very fast. During mint’s growing period, small purple flowers can be seen blooming all over it. There are a variety of different types of mint and they generally grow to a height of 10 to 120cm.

While mint can be found in all sorts of environments, it grows best in moist environments and soils. If left to grow, it will spread over large areas, conquering new lands like Genghis Khan. Since mint spreads so fast, many consider it to be invasive.
Mint has been a mainstay of cooking for a long time. Like all herbs, mint is better if it’s fresh rather than dried. If you’re going to be juicing with mint, it will have to be fresh for you to get any juice out of it.
Humans have known about the health benefits of mint leaves for a long time. In the past, mint has been used to treat a variety of illnesses. It is especially effective in treating stomach and chest pains. During the Middle Ages, people used mint to whiten their teeth!

Anyway, the point of all this is that mint is used everywhere. Mint is in food, perfume, cosmetics, toothpaste, menthol, insecticide, aromatherapy. In a deceptive piece of product design, mint is even used in cigarettes as it eliminates the foul taste and soothes the throat.
People have been going gangbusters over the health benefits of mint leaves for a long time. Why?
We’ll have to take a closer look a mint nutritional benefits, won’t we?

10 Health Benefits Of Mint Leaves

  1. Boost Digestion. Like I said, one of the main mint health benefits is that it aids digestion and helps to remove stomach pains. Mint is a great appetizer and due to its soft aroma, it soothes the stomach. The aroma triggers the mouth to produce more saliva and more digestive enzymes. As you can imagine, this aids digestion tremendously.
  2. Strengthen Your Liver. When your liver is chugging along slowly, you’re going to be feeling pretty dismal. A poorly functioning liver is an energy sap. Thankfully, one of the great mint nutritional benefits is that it is a powerful liver booster. The health benefits of beetroot are also fantastic for the liver.
  3. Cool Your Body.
You know that song – “Rock Your Body”? Well, if you listen carefully to mint leaves, you’ll hear them singing “Cool Your Body”… In all seriousness, mint is a cooling herb. Consuming mint causes your body to slightly lower its temperature. This is one reason that mint goes great in fruity, summery drinks (like the juicer recipes I describe below!).
  4. Relieve Asthma. Many people have found that consuming mint produces positive relief for asthma symptoms. Scientists believe that regular use of mint is super beneficial for asthma patients. It is a great relaxant and relieves congestion (unblocks your nose, remember?). However, don’t go too crazy as too much mint may cause irritation.
  5. Take Care Of Your Teeth. Why do you think toothpaste is minty? It’s because one of the health benefits of mint leaves is that they are good for dental hygiene. First, mint freshens up your breath. This is awesome, especially if you have just eaten a big plate of garlic. Mint also packs a load of germ defense. Mint inhibits the growth of bacteria in the mouth and cleans the teeth and tongue.
  6. Stop Farting.
I know it’s an embarrassing subject, but hey, we all do it from time to time. One of the interesting mint nutritional benefits is that it will help us stop farting. Since it eases digestion, the body makes less gas. The benefits of lemon juice are also great for this.
  7. Eliminate Mucus. Mint is an Expectorant. Basically, this means that mint encourages the body to eliminate mucus from the airways, lungs, bronchi and trachea. It promotes the drainage of mucus from the lungs.
  8. Defeat Cancer. Like all edible plant food, mint is believed to have potent cancer-fighting powers. This health benefit of mint leaves is probably due to the variety of enzymes that mint contains. Pretty awesome, huh!
  9. Kick Acne’s Ass. Mint juice is great if you’re juicing for acne. Why? It cleans the skin like it’s a jewel. It’s beats infection, soothes the skin and it works like magic when it comes to removing pimples. It’s also powerful in reducing wrinkles. If you want to look younger for longer, rub mint juice into your skin once or twice a day.
  10. Tasty Treat. There is no denying that mint tastes great. While not specifically one of the health benefits of mint leaves, whether you use it in food, juice, toothpaste or something else, mint is pleasant to the tastebuds.

Mint Side Effects And Cautions

For the most part, the health benefits of mint leaves make mint like the friend you never had. Mint is loyal, caring and powerful. Just like the killer turmeric benefits.
However, if you are allergic to other herbs such as oregano or basil, you’re probably allergic to mint. Unfortunately, this means that mint can’t be your friend.
Also, while mint is a strong reliever of heartburn, in some cases, it may causes heartburn symptoms to get worse.
If you experience any adverse symptoms or mint side effects after taking it, cease consumption and talk to your doctor immediately.

Juicing With Mint

Like I mentioned above, juicing with mint is perfect for acne. It’s also great if you’re juicing for health.

One of my favorite mint juicing recipes is the Pineapple Pickup. It’s fruity and perfect for a hot summer’s day. Another idea to get the health benefits of mint leaves is to mix carrot and grapefruit.
